I know that many of you have been checking our blog for our initial post and we thank you for your interest and enthusiasm. It's been a hectic couple of weeks and I'm just now getting to this item on my long "to do" list.
Wow - is one of the only ways I know to express how overwhelming the past month or two have been! As Rick and I celebrated (with many of you) the end of one chapter of our lives while preparing to move on to the next we have ridden one heck of an emotional roller coaster!
Thank you all again for the many thoughtful gifts and most especially for your support and well wishes for our new adventure.
We are in the final days of packing and storing our personal belongings - that I just couldn't figure out where to put on the boat!
We will spend Easter with family and friends before making the boat our new permanent home. The first couple weeks of April will be spent making all of the final preparations so that we're ready to set sail when the next nice, warm weather window presents itself.
Until then we hope everyone has a nice Easter and that we all get blessed with some warm, Spring weather real soon.
